How to uninstall EverDesk

If you would like to uninstall EverDesk email client, please follow one of these two possible options.

1. Using "Uninstall EverDesk" menu item

  1. Click on Start button, select "All Programs", and find EverDesk folder in the list.
  2. Inside EverDesk folder, click on "Uninstall EverDesk" icon.
  3. If you're using Windows with User Account Control enabled, a prompt will appear, confirming that you indeed would like make changes to the system - click Yes, as you'd like to remove an installed program from the system.
  4. In uninstallation wizard that appeared, select "Uninstall" option and follow the prompts.

2. Using "Uninstall a Program" function of Control Panel

  1. Open Windows Control Panel - e.g. by clicking on Start button, and then selecting "Control Panel" option.
  2. Find "Uninstall a program" option and click to launch it.
  3. In the list of installed programs that appeared on the screen, find EverDesk, select it and click "Uninstall" button above the list.
  4. In uninstallation wizard that appeared, select "Uninstall" option and follow the prompts.

Remove stored user data

If you would to also remove all user data stored by EverDesk on your computer, follow these steps. WARNING! THIS WILL DELETE ALL EVERDESK FILES AND EMAILS FROM YOUR COMPUTER. Please make sure that you have backed up all of emails and files before you do this.

User data is located in hidden folders in your Documents directory. To locate and remove them:

  1. Open folder options windows by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, selecting Appearance and Personalisation item, and then clicking Folder Options.
  2. Click the View tab, and under Advanced settings, click "Show hidden files and folders", and then click OK. Leave this window open, if you would like to reset this setting later.
  3. Open Documents folder in Windows Explorer, and delete folders named EverDesk Cloud, EverDesk Data and EverDesk Mail.
  4. In the folder option windows, reset "Show hidden files and folders" option back to its previous state.
